AC Leaks

First, let's focus on checking for leaks in your AC unit. At the bottom of your air conditioner, there should be a sealed drain pan at the base. You'll want to turn off the breaker or fuse to your AC unit and then remove all power cords from devices that may cause an electrical arc. After this, it's time to put on the rubber gloves. If you choose to inspect it yourself, take off the drain pan's cover and then use a flashlight to look inside. You'll want to inspect for any water or moisture that may be accumulating below your AC unit. If you find this, you most likely leak one of your hoses or connections! 

AC Unit Not Operating Correctly

First, turn your AC unit off and then unplug the compressor's power cord to disable it. If you're using an older model without a compressor block heater, then you may want to inform your neighbours.
